Technical & Business Review

Six pillars. One connected view.

Explore the method

A complete view

The six pillars of TBR

With that view, we decide what to organize, connect, automate or develop.

  1. Sales

How do customers find you, and how does each opportunity progress?

We review lead generation, commercial follow-up, stages from first contact to close, and why opportunities are won or lost. We aim for a process that is clear, repeatable and visible to the people responsible.

    Signals to explore

    • Prospects without formal follow-up
    • Contacts kept in personal chats or calendars
    • Unclear stages and unmeasured lost opportunities

    Possible actions

    • Define the sales process and organize a CRM
    • Automate reminders and establish reporting

What we aim to improveMore consistent follow-up and visibility into opportunities.

  2. Operations

How is the service delivered and daily work carried out?

We review internal processes, response times, bottlenecks and repetitive activities. We identify where tasks, approvals or information build up, and what the team needs to deliver with greater order.

    Signals to explore

    • Delayed delivery or repeated requests for the same information
    • Different procedures for the same task
    • Steps that depend on one person

    Possible actions

    • Map and improve processes and standardize procedures
    • Connect tools, automate tasks and track progress

What we aim to improveTiming, errors and rework, supporting a more consistent customer experience.

  3. Information

How is information organized, shared and used?

We review documentation, access, files, histories and internal communication. We aim to make necessary information available, current and protected for the people who need it.

    Signals to explore

    • Multiple versions and scattered documents
    • Difficulty reconstructing a history
    • Dependence on individuals or missing backups

    Possible actions

    • Centralize documents and define structure and naming
    • Organize access, versions, backups and communication

What we aim to improveTraceability, reliability and time to access information.

  4. Technology

Do your tools support operations and growth?

We review current systems, integration, use and adoption, security, backups and costs. We assess what to make better use of, connect, modernize or develop based on business objectives.

    Signals to explore

    • Disconnected systems or duplicate tools
    • Uncontrolled access
    • Technology spend without clear value

    Possible actions

    • Assess the toolset and integrate systems
    • Automate, modernize infrastructure and train the team

What we aim to improveContinuity, ability to evolve and relationship between cost and value.

  5. People

Who is responsible and what does the team need to execute?

We review structure, roles, reporting lines, capabilities, knowledge distribution and development opportunities. We consider how performance is measured and what preparation the team needs to sustain change.

    Signals to explore

    • Unclear responsibilities or overload
    • Dependence on key people or skill gaps
    • Adoption, training or continuity challenges

    Possible actions

    • Clarify roles and document responsibilities
    • Prepare training and knowledge transfer

What we aim to improveExecution capacity, knowledge continuity and effective use of solutions.

  6. Direction

How is direction set and progress reviewed?

We review vision, priorities, resource allocation, decision-making, risks and measures. We connect initiatives to clear objectives and a way to review results.

    Signals to explore

    • Shifting priorities and decisions without data
    • Untracked risks or missing measures
    • Difficulty adapting to operational change

    Possible actions

    • Align priorities and organize executive dashboards
    • Track objectives, measures, risks and decisions

What we aim to improveVisibility, prioritization and use of resources.

Assessment

How we conduct the assessment

We begin with your objectives and the situation you want to address. We speak with responsible stakeholders, review available processes and evidence, identify relationships across the six pillars, and discuss findings with you. We use that context to set priorities and define the next stage.

Participation and authorized access to information are agreed before work begins. Areas that could not be assessed are identified; assumptions are never presented as confirmed findings.

Agreed scope

Possible outputs

Agreed scope may include a current-state review, strengths and critical points, a map of the priority process, improvement opportunities and a staged action plan.

  • Assessment
  • Priorities
  • Process map
  • Action plan
  • Measures and follow-up

Each action describes what it aims to improve, who is involved, its dependencies and how progress will be reviewed. Deliverables and assessment depth are defined in the proposal.

The free initial diagnosis is a conversation to understand your context, assess fit and define the next step. It does not automatically include an audit, formal report, code or security review, or a detailed plan for every pillar.

Qualitative example

From diagnosis to a staged plan

Diagnosis case presented by KG Ops. Proposed plan.

In the private residential care example presented in our TBR document, the review identified dispersed information, manual processes, limited commercial follow-up and tools without an integration strategy. The proposed plan combined organization and visibility, operational control, technology modernization and optimization.

How the assessment connects to delivery

For software needs, we consider who it serves, how it will be used, how it fits the process and what capacity it should create. For commercial or operational needs, we first review the workflow and responsibilities. Tools are introduced when they help deliver the improvement.

An investment with purpose

We consider usefulness, operating cost and the team's ability to sustain the work. When a commercial opportunity exists, we assess how a solution may support the value proposition and route to market.
